Wow!! Beautiful car - you are definitely taking it to a new level.
Are you going to put a hitch on it and tow your trailer to the track?

Congrats on the 3. I just got one myself ('04 Basalt Black to go with my CS) but I've only got a weenie RS wing. Now I have wing envy.... Haven't tracked it yet - but will next week for the 1st time.
Enjoy

Thanks! No hitch... it won't be street legal (that's where "Illegally Blonde" came from - not street legal and yellow like blondes), so I'll have to trailer the whole car.

No silly... that wing is needed for the extra down force because it is so dog-gone FAST!!!
I actually drove the car on the track to test it out since that was the sole purpose for me buying the car. Here's a pic from Saturday when I drove it at Motorsport Ranch (3.1 mile track) in Cresson, TX. That's when I knew I HAD to have it!
Did you trade in your daily driver for this daily tracker .... sweet
Nope, I actually bought my Cayman S for a track & AX car. After a while, it became very apparent that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it for either and leave it stock. Many people have different opinions about this but I have a pretty strong opinion based on my experiences (oil ingestion problem, etc.) SO, it was either spend some money modding it up or look at other platforms. I drove a GT3 and that was it for me. The car instantly fit me. I LOVE the feel of the rear engine. And when I drove it on the track last weekend, I was even more enamored! I don't think I could have spun the thing if I TRIED! Everyone has warned me that it's a lot of car. Well, I'm a lot of woman so the car just might have met it's match. It was GLUED in the corners. In short, I LOVED IT!
So, the Cayman S is for sale. Have a very serious buyer, a friend that knows every story behind the car. She'll drive it as a daily driver. Every stock Cayman should be a daily - I don't think they will last long on the track if they are not modded. But again, that's just my 2 cents...
Thanks to EVERYONE for the well wishes. This is my fav forum so I'll still hang out and torture y'all with GT3 stories & pix.
Nice car! Kevin came to Barber's this summer with the Texas gang. That is one fast GT3, I'm sure you are going to enjoy it.
I think I heard this car was never passed on your local track? You have a large reputation to uphold!

WOW......never passed on a track? Impressive if true.

I can't say enough good things about the Barber PCA weekend. Unparalleled in my book.

Impressive, but not true. However, in any given PCA yellow/white DE session, Marilynn should generally be the fastest car out there
