Meet the Lamborghini that can seat four people but still gets a 5.2-litre V10 capable of 310km/h … and with a Local estimated AUD$600,000* price tag. By TOBY HAGON and the Drive team at the 2008 Paris motor show.
Lamborghini has stunned the automotive world – and not least its supercar rivals Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin – by unveiling a wild looking four-door sedan called the Estoque on the eve of the 2008 Paris motor show.
How can that be 'stunning'? Porsche has already committed to the Panamera, has already expanded the Leipzig factory for production. More than just tossing out some artist renderings, PAG has put real $$$ (Euros, actually) behind its words.
And for 1/3 the price of the Lambo johnnie-come-lately...

Totally agreed, and even if it makes it into production, I still think the panamera looks better (from the front at least )

A good car will get you from point A to point B. A great car... will just get you into trouble!
That car is HOT. Wow. You can hardly tell it is a four door. For $600k....no thanks, but then again unless I was a billionaire I would never pay $600k for a car....no matter what it is/was/will be.
The Lambo looks WAY hotter than the Panamera IMO.....for some reason the Porsche front/backend don't look that great on a 4 door, where the Lambo looks "right"....

I will say that the lambo definately has a mean look to it, but I'm with Arcuhtek, theres no way I'd consider spending that kind of money on a car. I do think its got the edge in appereance over the Panamera though.
So when the Paris show-goers saw the new Lamborghini they were eh-stoked? I know, it's pronounced ess-toe-kay, but I couldn't resist. Autoweek says the price "likely would be in the range of the [US]$200,000 Gallardo LP560-4". Much better than 6 big ones, but still too much for me. Anybody know what the Panamera will go for?
If VW owns Lambo, and Porsche just got control of VW, it might make the rendering the last we see of this...........
I don't know about that,.....they will be in two different price leagues. The bulk of Panameras will most likely be base (6 cyl.) of first step V8, just like the Cayenne and sell for well under $100k.
The lambo will be over $200k and in another ball park.
If Porsche can make money on both, you will see both.
