I can't believe that they charge extra for special colors when paying 122K.

Brad,

I wouldn't care what color it was if it was a Turbo! What a thrill that must be.

I still think that in shorter, tighter courses, the 997 GT3 would be handle better:

http://www.caranddriver.com/autoshow...1-gt3-997.html

and most certainly the upcoming GT3 RS:

The turbo was designed to be exactly what it is in the video, an uber autobahn cruiser in luxury.

Russ,

A thrill indeed; last year coming back from the Porsche Parade in Hershey, I was on US Hwy 50 across the northern Nevada desert and ran it up to 170 and set the cruise control there for 28 miles... not a soul around, not a beep from the V1... like a black missile blasting across the desert... now that was fun.

Very stimulating, thanks for the link! A tip for all, please be sure to watch to the end ... or if you prefer, go to the conclusion if you don't have the time.

Nice, but no Ruf Rt12.

If I was choosing between the new Turbo and the GT3 today I have no idea which way I would lean at this time. Both are fantastic cars and I have always loved the GT3, but that Turbo performance is just mean.
