Paul Frere was quite a guy! I recommend to all our Caymanites his recent book, Porsche Boxster Story. The last chapter is devoted to the Cayman, which of course grew out of the Boxster development line. It is quite outstanding, IMO.

I also recommend his classic work, Sports Car and Competition Driving. A little dated now due to modern technology, but the basic principles still apply and he expressed them clearly and eloquently.
