Why approach an exciting announcement with such a half-empty glass?
I disagree with your statement and believe in the past few months Porsche has responded very fast to their customers in regards to electronics. Several months ago they posted a survey for the public asking what they want out of audio systems in their Porsche's, and now, they've announced the new system for June this year.
Not to mention, they released an ipod solution a few months ago, most probably also as a response to that survey.
This system either will mean that Porsche has broken from their relationship with Harman Becker, or that Harman Becker is finally releasing a touch-screen nav; they provide nav solutions for all other German car makers (BMW, Merc, etc) and this will be the first announced touch screen unit on any German automobile as far as I know. And, with that said there is a 50% chance there will be voice activation, no? Becker's done it in BMW's and Merc's, I'm sure Porsche will not specifically ask them to keep the technology out of their cars.
