Stuttgart. Introducing two new models, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, are rounding off their range of dynamic mid-engined sports cars at the top. The two new models, the Porsche Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 and the Cayman S Sport, develop 303 bhp (223 kW) from 3.4 litres, eight horsepower more than the respective S models.

Nice to finally have some official info. So it appears that the new body style and engines won't make an appearance until Spring '09 at the earliest.

A nice blow out model to end a good production run. I wonder what the final sales numbers will be for the 987 Caymans?
I for one am very glad Porsche decided to make the Cayman, otherwise I'd still be on the sidelines dreaming of P-car ownership.
