Houston drive

Just north of Houston (RT 149). Small two lane road through rolling hills, lots of turns and best of all check the speed limit.

Ah, looks nice. Where is that exactly? I don't see RT149 on my streets & trips.

Looks familar. Is it from Montgomery to Richards to Anderson? It has been a long time since I was there but it was in a Porsche Carrera.

You take FM 1375 west which is off of I-45 at New Waverly (just north of Conroe). Go west towards the city of Richards and you will run into FM 149. You may need a more detail map to find the roads. It's a popular rout because of the rolling hills and turns.

You can find the rout in a book I picked up at a AAA office called Scenic Driving Texas by Laurance Parent. I'll try to scan the rout and post it.
