I'm coordinating a Meet/Greet and Drive in Mammoth Lakes, CA. I'm guaging the level of interest, here is whats planned.

When:
Saturday August 23, 2008 Meet and Greet from 11:00 A.M. tp 2:00 P.M. at The Mammoth Creek Park. The Town is very enthusiastic to have us here and will allow us to park on the grass to Show, Meet and Greet. There are places to snack/eat within walking distance.
Drive:
2:30 - 4:00 P.M. Will be a scenic drive through the June Lake loop to hwy 120 to Benton Crossing Road and back to Mammoth about 1.5 hrs. very scenic.
Meet:
4:30 - ?
At The Base Camp Cafe on Main Street. The Town along with The Base Camp owner will reserve parking for C.C. members along Main Street with 20% discount on dinner for C.C. members.

Arrangements have been made for C.C. members at the following:

The Westin is a full service all suite resort with secure underground parking within walking distance to The Village (shops and dining).

The Village will have a 3-D fireworks show on Sat. Aug. 23 at dusk (Walking distance from The Westin).

1. Mammoth Mountain Gondola ride to the top of Mammoth Mountain 11,035 ft. elevation 360o breathtaking views.
2. The Lakes Basin with twin lakes falls excellent fishing and hiking.
3. Two golf courses (one 9 hole and 18 hole)
4. The Village at Mammoth shops and dining.
5. Minaret Vista to: Agnew meadows, San Joquin river, Devil's Postpile, Rainbow Falls and Red's Meadow.
