We've added some software changes around here quietly, behind the scenes and with as little interruption as possible. Ok Ok I know there's been a little spotty downtime but hopefully that is behind us now!
What does this mean for you?
It should be a faster more efficient and more searchable website. Huh? Yes, go re-read that.
It "may" also mean that items you have bookmarked in the past will need to be updated in your bookmarks as some of the URL's may have changed.
It also means that users trying to find their member number for the
Escort group buy can now find it simply by clicking on their profile and looking at the URL at the top of the page which will now go to their own personal web page that is enumerated by their name plus their member ID #. Cool huh?
Links should be "friendlier" and the big thing, the whole site, including ALL forum messages can now be indexed by sites like Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc. It will take a little time for them to re-crawl our site but that should happen within a couple of days and then there will be an explosion of goodness in the major search engines leading people here and indexing all of our content.
There are probably a few other things I am forgetting at the moment, but those are the major items that come to mind.
