OK, time to cry "Uncle!" ... I've poked, prodded and searched for 15 minutes and can not find out how to delete a classified wanted ad that I placed previously. I found a source for the wheels I wanted, so it's time to boot the ad. I did find the link to mark the ad item as "SOLD" (sort of a weird concept for a Wanted ad), but that didn't result in my ad going away.

Actually if you mark it sold it will go away during the next automated clean-up cycle which typically happens every night sometime between midnight and 6am. Otherwise you need the permissions level high enough to allow for ad deletion, I think certain usergroups can do that but I'd have to look to be sure. If you marked it as sold you should be fine.

Thanks Ken! Indeed, the ad has disappeared. A tutorial article on the classifieds section of the site would be a useful addition. I must admit I've found it rather cryptic to use even though I am generally very computer & software savvy.
