Home Page Item Minimize

OK, at first I thought that maybe it was just me. But for months now I have not been able to keep items on the home page minimized. I minimize them and as soon as I return they are maximized again. At this point, I am getting so frustrated with the home page that I am avoiding it by using favorites and jumping right to the forums. If others are doing this too, then that is not a good thing for the Club.

I am using Internet Explorer. I have changed nothing on my computer. I have tried deleting all of my cookies and temporary files. I have tried adding the cayman club to my allowed list for cookies. I have tried logging out and back in again. I have tried two other computers with the same results. This all seems to have started for me right about when the Croctoberfest countdown was added.

Some windows can be minimized and they will stick. Others won't. This suggest that my cookies are working just fine.

If I minimize every single sub section and then refresh, the following sections come back:

Mods4Cars remote key group buy
Back in Black- Porsche Design Edition 1
Things that go Thunk in the night
Image Gallery
Need a little space?
Let the Good Times Roll - Raderworks Custom Wheels
PlanetLemans.com

All others stick. Unfortunately, the ones that will minimize are not the ones I want to minimize. Once I've read the group buy announcements a few dozen times, I can minimize them and get to the top 10 faster. But right now I have to scroll scroll scroll.

Anyone else having this same problem?

...same Home page behavior exhibited in Firefox 2.0.0.12 on my Mac. i use the Home page more now than before the re-design, but still not nearly as much as navigator bar selection "New Posts."

Please submit that as a "bug" to vBadvanced since they make the add-on for the software used on this site that renders the CMPS. The modules in question that you are pointing out are all from their default setup with the exception of the last ALMS module which is a custom one. If just a custom one wasn't working I'd say it is that module, but it appears that something is affecting the middle column. I could remove all custom modules from the middle column to see if any of those are affecting the other modules but short of that there is nothing for me to configure to make it work or not, it either does or doesn't.

BTW I just removed the planetlemans.com rss feed from the home page, let me know if you still have the problem or not, if you do, then I'll remove the next custom one (I thnk there are only 2) but I wanted to do them 1 by 1 so if one turns out to be a problem I would know which one it would be.

I am still having the problems listed above.

Ok I will remove the Member Map custom module as well then.

Well that mean it isn't a custom module which means it is a software issue from the maker, please contact then at vBadvanced and lodge a complaint and see if they have a fix, if they do I will install the fix.

BTW this problem should NOW BE FIXED! I consulted with the makers of the software and they came out and fixed it while I was gone so let me know if it is now working for you, it should be!
