My apologies for the unplanned website downtime. Something went wrong yesterday and was fixed sometime this morning by the ISP. I'm waiting on a full report as to the cause, severity, etc. Hopefully nothing serious. The site is back up, which you can see by reading this message, and hopefully will continue to stay that way!
Again, my apologies for any anxiety over the site being down, I very much appreciate the emails and phone calls alerting me to that fact and I share your frustration that it took so long to get the site back up.
Sincerely,

. . . Again, my apologies for any anxiety over the site being down . . .
I can imagine that a few folks who saw the April Fools Thread on Tuesday, and then didn't check back in until last night might think that the website did go kaput for that reason.
I'm just glad to get my CC fix again!

Sincerely,
Apologies accepted. Just don't let it happen again. Heheh I can't believe how much I enjoy this forum until I couldn't get to it. Well, it wasn't your fault, I'm just glad it's back.
Sometimes you don't realize how much you enjoy a thing until it is taken away. I don't think we should underestimate how much this website adds to the enjoyment of our cars by providing a community of likeminded individuals and a wealth of information and resources. Technically, I am sure I spend more time on here then I do driving my CS. Without Cayman Club I would feel like a rather isolated Cayman owner who rarely sees another Porsche. Thanks again for the site Ken and I am very much pleased that the joke was just a joke after all.
First: April Fools
Second: System down
Third? Ken heads for the dark side (BMW)
Funny, when I went from BMW to Porsche, my friends said I went to the "dark side." So ummmmmm just exactly where IS the dark side? Or is it something like the "greener pasture"?
I too missed the website last night. Glad Ken decided to plug it back into the power outlet.
