It has come to our attention that a few members have received the following phrase when trying to do something on this site after our upgrade:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

We are being told by the software developers that because this is only happening to a very small number of members that it is something related to those members and their browser/browser configuration.

The instances where it has happened that have been reported to us are the following:

1) Voting in a poll
2) posting a message

I have taken 2 different accounts and tested the poll in question as has one of our developers and we do not get the error and thus far no one else has reported a posting a message error either but I want to try to help anyone who may be having this problem.

If you are having this problem please reply with the specifics of what you were doing when it occurred and what browser, browser version and operating system you are using.

The suggestion from the developers is to have the users in question completely flush their cache and cookies and/or use a different browser and see if the problem still occurs.

I just had this occur, while attempting to vote in a poll.

I am using Internet Explorer, version 7.0.5730.11, Windows XP Media Center Edition

Thanks for looking into this. Everything else seems to be working fine with the site, so I'm not too worried about it...
