This speadsheet will allow you to see and experiment with low/high speeds in each gear. This can be pretty usefull if you are contemplating changing your tire size, gear ratios or final drive ratios.

Nice job on the spreadsheet GB - very useful. The only suggestion I would make would be to replace the ratios entered as 3 digit decimals with the actual ratio of gear teeth (e.g. 35/9 for the final drive ratio, instead of the less accurate value of 3.88 in the spreadsheet). I'd fix it myself, except that I haven't been able to find the numbers of gear teeth on 1-6.

Enter this into the cell where the final drive ratio is: "=35/9" without the quotes of course and you will get deeper resolution on that variable. It may not make much of a difference, and because the tire sizes really have a little wiggle room, I don't know if the minor difference between 3.88:1 and 35/9 will make much difference.

For example, a new tire has 8mm of tread depth. So, as it wears, it's circumference will change by up to 2.39% (by the time it is completely bald). That's more than 10 times the difference between 3.88 and 35/9 (which is 0.228%).

Cayman Gear/Speed Calculator has been updated! I have corrected the formatting of the 5th gear top speed cell to go bold/red when a 5 speed is selected and the top speed exceeds the drag limited top speed.
