Where's the appropriate place to post a query about an engine problem that would be common to both Caymans and Boxsters so that both groups would likely see it? Or do I just post the same issue on both forums?

In a situation like that when you are specifically asking for feedback from both audiences about a common issue I would say go ahead and post in Cayman Chat and in the Boxster Board sections but make it clear in each post that you are seeking feedback from both sets of owners. Thanks for asking ahead of time btw, we usually don't allow duplicate messages but if done right something like this would be ok.
