Downloading of articles?

Hi All-

Just wondering if it's possible to download an article to a PC. Or is the website designed to only display an article. It would be very handy to be able to put these on a PC to view at one's convenience rather having to be connected on-line.

Thanks,
Tracy

Then what would prevent other sites from uploading them to their site and claiming them as their own?

Actually they just aren't in a format where you could download them but I suspect that if you did a reveal HTML code on the article in question and cut and pasted it to your own HTML editor that would pull the photos down that you could make a reasonably good copy, or always try the "Save As" option under the File menu in Internet Explorer when viewing that article, it will give you an offline version that you can view later without being connected.

FYI - You can just copy and paste the whole article into e.g. MS Word, and then save it on your computer as a .doc file (it will copy the pictures also).

Or use Adobe Acobat (not the adobe reader). There is a function to convert websites into pdf. Pictures, weblinks and even flashs will remain available.
On Vista systems you will find as a printer device the Microsoft XPS Document Writer which as well does this work but without keeping the weblinks and flashes. Maybe this printer device is available on XP systems too.
