I worked with Jack for 5 years when I was at Pirelli, he helped train me when I was new there. He is a good man. He knows tires. I think he forgot that the 997 is the newest 911 version.

Without getting into an argument about who makes the best tires, I will only buy Pirelli if the size is available for my vehicle (stop end of story). They are not for everyone, but I know what goes into them (from an R&D standpoint) and they don't compromise performance in their designs.
