First of all, I probably have not done this myself properly in the past a couple of times. However, I've noticed a very annoying trend by certain folks who insist on quoting entire posts which make it difficult to read the thread.


Here are some suggestions for the newbies.


1) Don't quote a picture! That's just stupid.

2) Don't quote a huge paragraph and add "I agree" If you feel the need to say you agree then quote a sentence or phrase.

3) Only quote relevant portions of a posting and respond to those quotes

4) Don't quote a quoted posting unless it's absolutely necessary.



If you want to know why I am posting this it's because I have a lot less time these days to monitor CC and the lazy-quote-everything people are making my enjoyment less and usage of the board more difficult.

if you are responding to the last post or comment...there is no need to use quotes.

Quotes are sometimes helpful because two or more people might be responding at the same time and each person might think their post will be directly below...
