K-Man S, I currently have two browsers, MozillaFireFox and Explorer. With either one when I access the Caymen Club web site, I am unable to pull up the full sponsor page. I would like to use these resources before I try others first. I looked for a thread for this problem but didn't locate any. Do you have any suggestions on how I can pull up this page. Santa Fe was kind enough to send me the list, but it would be also nice to be able to pull it up from the web site. Thank you, By the way for the last week now your site has been super fast on either browser, Thanks for the upgrade.
Very good point. I can find no sign of us being a sponsor on this club site. Would any of you do me a favor and see if you can find a hint of 'Boothe Design' being a sponsor? I would appreciate hearing from you.
I had a similar problem until I went to the Microsoft site and upgraded my Explorer browser. Yes Ralph you are a listed Sponsor under the Advertiser/Sponsor tab at the top of the page.
R Willis, What browser do you have? If it's Explorer, what version? Just for info. my sponsor page at the bottom is always blank. I wonder if this has something to do with my firewall or anti-spam ware?
I run a combination of both IE and Mozilla Firefox. Both work fine. Here are the versions I'm using via the HELP button and ABOUT.
IE ----> 6.0.2900.2180
Mozilla Firefox ----> 1.5.0.4
Also, running WinXP SP2 and a full Norton Anti-Virus/Security 2006 suite which includes SPAM and pop-up blocking. However, all the sponsor things are working correctly like I stated earlier.
R Willis, It looks like we have the identical set up, I wonder if it might be that I have additional spyware (Adaware) or my settings need to be changed?
It is NORTON, it is notorious for blocking these things depending on the version of Norton you are running and the settings. Turn off Norton and I bet you see everything, then you can turn it back on and experiment with settings until you can see everything again.
Boothe Design is listed multiple places as a Sponsor but certainly on the Sponsor Page, although I do need to update Ralph's account here to reflect that and will momentarily.
As mentioned elsewhere it depends upon the VERSION you are running and the SETTINGS you have in place. The trick is to find which setting is causing the problem for you if you are having a problem.
Thank you K Man S , once again your right on. It was Norton anti-spam, went to ad blocking, unchecked the box, and now I'm fine. I still have anti ad pop up with Norton. Thanks again, Hot Kman
