Why is this site so slow sometimes?

I love this site and am very thankfull for all the info I get here.

I do not know why, but response time is very slow sometimes. I will click on a link and it takes forever to show up. Am I they only one to experience such problem?

Me too. About an hour ago, every thread I clicked on timed out before it could open. This happens frequently, at least once a day.

Often very slow for me too. So slow that I sometimes leave and come back later. This thread page took about 1.5 minutes to load in. Do we all have Macs? I couldn't even post with Explorer; had to get Firefox.

It is not a Mac or PC oriented problem. I am on a robust PC with a high speed internet connection and I too experience the sluggish response. I believe that 'K-Man-S' is in the process of migrating the software to faster servers to correct the problem. It is costly and those that wish to help may contribute to the kitty. I did so a week or so ago as I too find this site to be very helpful and informative.
