I live in Brookline. Bought my CS exactly 12 months ago next week. 8,000 miles on the clock. Worst part about the car is owning it in this area. Not nearly enough places to drive the car that are both fun and safe. Sitting in traffic is no fun. Wish we had more country roads nearby.
I was supposed to be driving to Watkins Glen today for a driving school with the BMW Club's Boston chapter. The school got cancelled yesterday because they have 3' - 4' snow drifts on the track! I'm totally bummed. Trying to find alternate tracks dates in the coming months.
I live in Watertown, my car is about 2 months old, never track. I was planning to go to either BMW M school and Porsche Driving School this summer. But not confirm yet...

We are probably moving to Boston (Somerville is actually our target area) in January. Good to know who is there, so I know who to PM with questions re. dealers and etc.

Clay Man I think you would probably enjoy going to a PCA Northeast region school at NHIS. You can do a one day school and you would learn a lot. They do an excellent job of working with novice drivers. They are very eager to bring novices into the fold. If you haven't already done so you should join PCA and look into this. I've been instructing for over 20 years and I enjoy it very much. The PDE and M school are probably wonderful, but they are incredibly expensive. E-mail or PM me if you want to discuss this further.
Apsinkus It will be good to see our ranks grow here in the Boston area. It is still rare to see Caymans on the road here. I'm happy to share local knowledge once you get to town.

I strongly recommend calling Marc at German Performance Service in Cambridge. It would appear there is very little they can't do to a Cayman. Really nice guy and reasonable rates. Check it out http://www.2002racing.com/
I live in Belmont, have had my Lapis Blue CS since last August. I don't see many of them around here, though I did pass a white one on 128 near Great Plain Ave. the other day (I was driving my other "car"). Anyone on here have a white Cayman?
I agree about the roads around here. The potholes are ridiculous, and no twisties. We'll just have to take them to the track to enjoy them!
There are plenty of Porsche tuners in this area. Join PCA, get the Noreaster, check out the ads. I had European Performance Engineering in Natick do my alignment.
