The rain held off and it was a great day of Club Racing and DE at Lime Rock today.

I volunteered to work this event for CVRPCA. This was my first time and what a ball. I flagged turn 9 for most of the day on Friday and was supposed to run the radar gun to monitor speeds in the pits for the endurance race late Friday but there was a problem with radios and the radar gun. Finally my chance to be on the other side of the gun and give out speeding tickets but no joy. I came back on Saturday and flagged turn 3 for most of the day and then into the control booth for the endurance race to time cars in the pits for the manditory 5 minute pit stop. Things got a little hectic in the control booth so I really couldn't watch the race but what a great time working behind the scenes to pull off an event like this. I figured that if I can't race this is almost the next best thing, can't wait to do it again next year.
