Philly to Woodstock - Route Suggestion?

Folks,

My wife and I are getting our first weekend away from the kids (13 mos and 5yo) since before our youngest was born. We are spending a long weekend at a spa near Woodstock in Mt. Tremper. We are looking forward to the weekend away and the drive there in our Cayman S. This will be our first time driving a distance in the CS.

Coming from Philly, I realize that we are going to be relegated to a lot of highway driving. Can anyone recommend a good route to take that may avoid some of the highways?

Straight shot would PA TPK to NJ TPK to GSP to 287 to 87 to 28.

Well, since no one responded, this is the route I've mapped out. Anyone see any problems with it?

PA TPK to NJ TPK to Garden State Parkway to NYS Thruway (87N) to Exit 18
Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-299 [Main St]
Turn RIGHT (North) onto CR-7 [Springtown Rd]
Turn LEFT (West) onto CR-6 [Mountain Rest Rd]
Bear LEFT (North) onto CR-6 [Mohonk Rd]
Keep STRAIGHT onto CR-6A [Mohonk Rd]
At High Falls, Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-213
Turn RIGHT (North-East) onto US-209 [SR-213]
Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-213 [CR-4]
Turn RIGHT (North-East) onto SR-213 [CR-13]
Bear RIGHT (North-West) onto SR-213 [CR-20]
Bear LEFT (West) onto SR-28A
Bear LEFT (North) onto SR-28
To our destination in Mt. Tremper.

Ride goes through the Mohonk Preserve and some other nice looking areas.

Thoughts?
