Pete:
Glad to have you along for the ride, and it was great to meet with you and Ark3. Thanks for the compliment, but I'm still a rookie driver (kinda fits in well with a rookie navigator, I suppose!) Hope I didn't scare you TOO much. I know I had white knuckles in one particular turn...good thing for my DE training and an awesome-handling car, or I might have lifted off the throttle and sent us spinning into oblivion! I'm certain that you'll love your new car, and I hope to see you at DE events next year. PS Have you sent the photos to wellardmac so he can post them on his website?
Jackie:
Sure, get us all wound up and then bail out at the last minute...just kidding! Glad I could help, and also show Pete a little of what his new car can do (once he breaks it in, of course.) FYI I plan to attend the election meeting Nov 14, so we'll hopefully see you there. I can't promise you an article, but there'll probably be a summary or two here and on the rennlist forum.
Dave
It was a real long day for us. We met up @ 5:30AM and they drop me back in Queens around 3PM. That's a lot of driving![/QUOTE]
Get used to it my friend!!
I'm sure once your ride comes in, you will no longer be spending weekends at home...
double to Dave..
