Great site for finding fun local roads

I came across this site while doing research on how to make those 2000 break-in miles go by quickly.

Some good info on there!

Re: Great site for finding fun local roads

OK Court, fess up, where was this? You can keep the dirt road however.

Funny story. Years ago I was exploring Vermont in my Audi A4. Found a road on a map that looked fun. So as I'm driving on it, it turns from two lane, to one lane, to dirt, gravel, then rock, then boulders(!) the size of softballs. Stupid me, at this point the road was too narrow to make a 3-point turn to back out. I had no choice but to keep moving.

Crawled along at a snails pace hoping I wouldn't puncture the oil pan.

Did get some incredulous looks from the campers on the side of the road (or trail!).
