Clear film installation on my Cayman S

Check out my thread on the Cayman care forum documenting my clear film install at Detailing Dynamics by Eddie and his crew!

I didn't bring my big camera with me so these are a bit fuzzy thanks to my little emergency Point-n-Shoot camera I keep in the trunk.

Clear Film Install

I'm very happy with the installation and learned a few things about caring for the finish of the car. I was able to hang out at the shop and watch the whole process and ask questions.

They even had my current dream car in the garage, a 997 GT3 black on black!

After a quick detail on the car, it looked better than the day if left the dealership. I didn't even want to drive the thing.

That lasted all of two exits on the Grand Central when the car in front of me decided to clean their windshield.

Oh well, this is NY right? At least no one decided to toss pennies out the sunroof at me!

For you Metro NY/NJ members I would refer you to Joe in Bayside, Queens 917-602-9761 he does great work also and is less pricey.
If you're in CT or want to save like 1/2 the money & don't mind the drive time - Arrow Clear Bra in East Hartford, CT Rob Tillberg 860-289-8660 he did 2 cars for me this past year and the work was good; price great.
I like Matt and he's a great guy, does great work but he's is out of my price range.

Good info there Augie.

I would still encourage local folks to stop by their shop in Mineola and talk with Eddie or Matt. I think they're making an effort to get there names out on the forums after years of word-of-mouth advertistment.

You might be surprised at how reasonable their prices might be.

Besides they have a nice English bulldog mascot in the shop that will hump anything for free!
