I'll be attending a track tech event put on by the NNJR PCA club this Sunday afternoon from 1PM - 3PM at a local Porsche tuning shop.
POWERTECH
311 West Main Street
Rockaway, NJ 07866
Phone: 973.586.3210
Senior PCA club members and shop techs go over what the track tech inspectors look for during the morning inspection before a track day. Since I plan to attend several track events this year with the PCA for the first time, it'll be good to know about these issues.
The event is informal and open to all Porsche owners even if you're not a PCA member yet.
Club member Retired_Teach will be there in his white croc. I hope to see more than two Caymans in the parking lot!

Wow, fun event. Learned a bit about the bits under the car and had a nice chat with Russ Struck, President of the NNJR about oil changes on a Boxster/Cayman.
Best part of the day? Leaving in a caravan with Topgearfan and retired_teach. So that's what a Cayman looks like on the road!
Later on 287 South, Topgearfan and I ran into two more Caymans, so we basically took over the highway for a bit, 4 Caymans in a bunch. Too bad my camera was in the trunk at the point, DOH!!!

I would have to agree, it was a fun event. The conversation with Russ was quite informative. We now know his secret to a smooth DIY oil change.
The trip home, driving down 287 south was cool. The three of us were cruising, then all of a sudden 2 Cayman's came out of no where with their spoiler's raised, and let me say they were moving. I really wanted to step on it and keep up with them, but I am still so early in the break-in period, I didn't want to push too hard.
I know that Pete took some pics as well, (and his are probably going to be much better), but here are a few shots from my point and shoot Canon of the three of us lined up in the parking lot of Powertech...

Hey Pete, I was one of the Caymans.... It felt good cruising in a group of Caymans.
Were you coming from the PowerTech event? There was a fourth Cayman in the PowerTech lot and we couldn't figure out who it belonged to.
It was quite a sight on the road, I'm sure all the drivers around us were going WTF???
