April 19th Spring Fling run

I'm planning to attend drive organized by a Zone 2 member on Saturday April 19.

The details are here:

http://www.caymanclub.net/zone-2/197...ing-fling.html

I know there are some New Jersey members here that should be able to make it to the starting point without have to wake up at some crazy hour.

The organizer (Wellardmac) had a similar Porsche run last fall that I was able to attend before I had my Cayman thanks to the efforts of Croc'ed, NYPorscheChik and ark3.

This event ended up kick starting my participation on the Zone 1 boards.

Here is a link to the pictures of the run. It was a nice and easy ride to no crazy antics from anyone.

Just a reminder, the Spring Fling drive organized by Zone 2 member Wellardmac is this Saturday! The weather is looking perfect.

Any more Zone 1 members coming out? So far here is the Zone 1 list:

1. PistolPete13
2. Retired-Teach
3. Topgearfan
4. Pcay60

Looks like there'll be at least six more Zone 2 Caymans in this run. Let's try to outnumber the 911's!

I'm thinking about this one. I'd need to get up at 5am to leave NYC on time and make it to the event... We'll see.

I hear ya, I need to be out the door around 5:30AM too in order to make it in time to hang out and check out the cars a bit before we leave as a group.

The good news is I just found out the power shutdown at my work this weekend has been postponed. Now I don't have to worry about coming back into the city this Saturday afternoon after the run to power things up.

The bad news is that it is rescheduled for May 31, the day of the first NNJR-PCA autocross event in Englishtown.
