The Connecticut Valley Region of the Porsche Club is holding their April monthly meeting at Danbury Porsche on April 8th, 2008. This would be a great opportunity for us to come together for some food, fun and Porsche talk.
The Cayenne GTS will be the topic of this month's meeting. Information on the new sporty sport ute will be delivered by the staff of Danbury Porsche, all great people who are known to put on and interesting meeting. Kent Bain, a vintage car collector and restorer will be the guest speaker and will likely share some very interesting Porsche facts and stories.
Here is some information taken from the

What to expect:
For anyone who hasn't attended a
PCA meeting before, the CVR regions usually pulls a nice turn out, 75-100 people. Dinner is usually provided by the hosts (Danbury Porsche in this case). Last year, they brought in a nice hot & cold catered buffet with a little something for every palette plus a full compliment of coffee and soft drinks. Members will eat and socialize for about an hour and then the meeting will be called to order by the regional president. He will welcome everyone and call out to the group for any new or long lost returning members to raise their hands and introduce themselves. That's always followed by a nice warm round of applause from the group. The Connecticut Valley Region always runs a door prize raffle, no charge, every attendee gets a ticket at sign in. Give aways are sometimes donated by the host or taken from the CVR boutique (Wearables, etc...)(Last year Danbury Porsche donated some nice Porsche Designs items to be given away as door prizes.). If you have a birthday during the month of April, your name will go into a bucket with the other April birthdays and they will draw a name for another door prize (there is usually less than 10 people in that group so your chances of winning are pretty good).
Non PCA Members:
Don't count yourself out if you're not a member of the Porsche Club. There are likely to be many CC/
PCA member in attendance that would be happy to vouch for you as their guest.
So come on out for some fun.......!
