PCA track events at Pocono Raceway the next two weekends
I know there has been some curiosity about what goes on during track events here. There are two track events this weekend and next at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.
Pocono is close by to a number of Zone 1 members. Obviously you can't drive on the track, but after signing a simple waiver at the gate, you can go into the paddock and talk with other Porsche nuts. You don't need to be a PCA member and there is no charge. Two years ago I introduced myself to the track chair at the event and was able to get a ride along in an instructor car for one session. That basically set me on the road to getting a Porsche and joining the PCA.
This weekend (4/5-4/6) the Northern NJ Region PCA club will be running and next weekend (4/12-4/13) will be the Metro NY Region.
I'll probably be out there myself on Sunday 4/6 to check out the event so look for my gray Cayman S in the parking lot!
