CT or Western Ma AX

I'm not going to be able to do any DE's at least for the first part of the season and am looking for a few autoX events here in Ct or even Western Ma. CVR-PCA hasn't posted a schedule yet, they seem to be pretty slow organizing AX events.
I am some what familiar with this organization as I "Wintercrossed" with them several times. Connecticut Autocross & Rally Team Anyone here a where of other than PCA events going on in this area?

I saw a lot of people from CT in the SCCA AX event last Sunday at Devers AFB.
As I am looking at other clubs and where they are holding their AX, they are almost all at Devers AFB. I am not sure if I recall it right, but that might be a bit too far for you.

Yeah I think that is further than I'm prepared to drive for an autocross event. There are a few in my area its just that the parking lots used are normally abandoned or in pretty bad shape as well as being small. Your description of the Devons location sound like an ideal place for the autocross event. I wonder if anyone has ever tried the Westover AFB here in the Springfield area? There's miles of concrete from the old runways.

I think any AFB will be better than a parking lot. Those runways were made to much higher standard than any parking lot. That said, do not shy away from events in parking lots. That is almost all we had when I lived in Chicago. The worst one was going to MGA proving grounds in WI. There was more asphalt crack sealant on the ground than asphalt. You would be done with the event in the middle of summer and tar would be all over the wheel well.
Whatever you find, just do it. If you are running stock tires, you will be fine in just about any event.
