For those interested in the Lime Rock ALMS race I'd like to suggest the Porsche Coral. I did it last year and plan on it again this year. Its a little more expensive but you get to park in a roped off area for Porsche only(although last year we shared the coral with the NSX people), you get to meet some of the Porsche race drivers and you also get a free meal. There is a big tent set up for us if the weather turns bad or the sun is too much.
Since the event will be 2-days (Fri-Sat) the cost will for both days, correct? How much was the event last year?
I'll probably just attend the Friday practice if I goto the event at all. I have a corporate event that Friday night and Saturday all the way out in Montauk, Long Island. My ALMS experience will probably have to be at CroctoberFest this year.
I highly recommend any Zone 1 members closeby attend this event. It's a car nut's dream.

This gives answer to some of the questions asked. It appears that this years event might be more difficult or expensive to sign up for than last year. I get the impression reading the PDF link quickly that Skippy is favoring club members. I haven't called yet so its pure speculation on my part at this time.
Anyway this will be the first big race after the track repaving so I'm really looking forward to see how that affects lap times. Walking through the pits you can get up close and personal with some of the fastest race cars racing today. Penske's DHL and Dysons R S Spyder Porches, Audi, Acura Mazda, Corvette, the Flying Lizard team, maybe the Austin Martin team.
This is the best racing in the Northeast.
Oh yeah I forgot one other insignificant car manufacturer/race team... Ferrari..
