PCA Topics NNJR-PCA DE @ Pocono Raceway 6/28-6/29

I've signed up to attend this 2-day Drivers Ed event being held at Pocono Raceway at the end of June. They'll be running the "full-course" instead of the normal north course.

I can't find any infomation on what the full course layout is!

Does anyone know if this includes the serious banked section by Turn 1? I've heard that even the NASCAR cars run into oil starvation issues on one of the banked turns. I'm not sure if I'll be quick enough to even stay on any banked section without rolling off!

Anyway, Pocono is a easy 2-hr drive from the George Washington Bridge so if any of the Zone 1 crew wants to come out and check it out, let us know!

I'm pretty sure we have another Club member here that'll be running those two days too, but I'll let him chime in if he wants.

I forget the exact full course layout that PDA runs. I've only done the normal north, south and east courses. I know the south course bank is no joke.. I've actually been low enough on fuel that its pushed my fuel away from the pickup and caused the car to almost stall. That was interesting, lol.
Shoot someone from pda an email, I'm sure they'll give you the full course layout. I couldnt find a map, nor the grand slam paperwork that usually includes the full course.

actually, heres a vid that might be the full course. Although I thought it was a different layout.. apparently not.

My daughter and I signed up for Pocono also.... Had to let her take advantage of ladies day. I have only done the north course, but have heard from people at work about the full course. I get the impression that that can change for different events, or it may be different for 2 wheels or 4 wheels.... See you there.

I look forward to meeting you Ken. The registration page show 90 drivers so far, this event will be packed!

Chris, thanks for the video. That's a mightly long time on the straights, I'd better check my steering fluid level ASAP!

Were those photos from the weekend of 4/5 - 6? We must've past right by each other, I was out there on 4/5 for a bit wandering around the paddock. It was too cold to stay around for more than an hour!

That was the weekend.... We fought off the rain, but it was cold all weekend. No sun on the track until Sunday afternoon, but, it was awesome.
