Looks like the rain has given way to a perfect day today for your AutoX!
Did any CaymanClub members attend and meetup? Pictures or reports please!
I'll be attending a Car Control clinic put on by the NNJR PCA club tomorrow at the Meadowlands, same location as the AutoX.
It's pre-registration only and sold out. There'll be 50 or so Porsches there so if you're in the area, stop by and check out some of the hardware!

well, i was there... and came in 52nd place.....there were only 52 entries...
maybe when i get the suspension and better tires, i'll do better.... or maybe i should just learn how to drive!....
Dellman and Mutant_Tuna came by to "observe".... Mutant was "not sold" on it when we first spoke, but i did see him leaving with a new helmut and pair of Piloti shoes from our Race Gear sponsor, VAS Racing..... so maybe we will see him and his beautiful white cayman on June 7th for our Autocross School along with Dellman..... great fun to be had by all......
i'll post some of my pics shortly....

Was the Hearse there because you came in 'dead last'? Sorry for the sick humor!

Don't worry NYPorscheChik, you can only improve. I know I learned a few things (well everything) I was doing wrong at the salom during the car control clinic today.
And the pictures are getting better! I think I'll have some competition as Zone 1 photographer very soon...

As aforementioned I did stop by the autocross, unfortunately I didn't have my camera.
I met Dellman and his girlfriend, and NYporschechik. All very nice.
I went to see what this thing call "autocross" is. I'll admit it looks like fun, essentially throwing your car around in a parking lot. There was also a nice mix of cars.
I plan to attend the June 7th autcross at the Nassau Coliseum, since they will have a novice session.
Hey mutant_tuna, don't forget to pump your tire pressure up 3 lbs or so over the normal recommended. This will keep the tire from rolling over too much during the tight turns.
As you get a better feel for the car, adjust accordingly.
