As I understand it, this weekend the track was for the Ferrari NorthEast gathering, but with the types and amount of cars, I think the Corvette and Viper Clubs also shared in the rental.
I'm not aware of any show and drive events at the big tracks. Mandatory tech inspections prior to event, etc.

Let me know next time when you come up to Pocono Raceway again. I live only 8 miles from the track.
