When: Saturday, June 7th
Where: Nassau Coliseum
Time: 7:00 a.m.
If you are interested in learning to Autocross or just want to polish up your skills this is a great event to attend.
If you are new to the sport, you can come down and enjoy a competition and pressure free environment where you will be instructed by many of the club's talented drivers through a variety of Autocross exercises designed to give you the basic skills necessary for Autocross.
If you have Autocrossed before and want to improve your existing skills, instructors will work with you to get that competitive edge you've been looking for.
SEAT TIME - SEAT TIME - SEAT TIME
You have heard everyone say it. The key to success is seat time.
There is no better place then the Autocross School. You will be able to drive the exercises all morning and a real Autocross course in the afternoon. YES...you heard it here...A real Autocross Course! (no points will be awarded for this event)
If you are interested please e-mail me at autocross@metronypca.org or call me at 631-748-2727. Please respond ASAP (by June 4th) if you are thinking of attending.
this is a GREAT Event for you guys.... there is a small group that attend this one, so you will get a ton of time each run and an instructor each run as well.... trust me, you want to learn from these guys! first part is broken down to specific driving techniques.... figure 8, apex, slolom, quick stop, then tied all together into a full run... then you'll run it solo. it's a great way to really learn car control and will enhance your DE experience.... I"ll be there, hope some of you will join us.

Great seeing NYPorschChik and Croc'ed at the event today! Fellow club members roadrunner and BankerBiker also participated in the event.
Hopefully one of them will post about their experience and what they learned today.
what?.... who be those two???? and they didnt come and say Hello???
i was in the red 944s, the crazy chick doing the spins outs...
man what a great day it was.... definately picked up some refining points from Thom M and Henry Ho... wanted to go today, but have "housework" to do... you know, mow the lawn (actually, Billy does that..), do the laundry, feed the lizards...water the farm...blah blah blah...
plus i way over-heated yesterday... never knew we could wear shorts to AX... duh. when i came home, thankfuly i live about 7 minutes away, my face was redder then my car... that cant be good...
