Looking for reputable clear bra installer in upstate NY

I did a little digging and came up with a couple in Rochester NY: No nicks Nick Mannisto, Tint shop emporium- Jay Bernunzio, Showtime auto detailing-Brian Kelly, Syracuse area: CNY solar protection- Bruno Natale

Looking to see if any CC members have had any dealings with them and what their thoughts were regarding the quality of work.
I imagine it's probably best if the car is thoroughly washed etc before the install right? Any other suggestions are welcome!!

Thanks!

Drive,
I recently had my Range Rover Sport done (Invictashield - spelling?) at Piehler Land Rover in Rochester (I'm not sure who they subcontracted to). It may be worth a call to see who they work with.

When I got my CS in '06 I couldn't find anyone in Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse that was reputable. Culligan Auto Place in Buffalo (where I ordered the CS) was helpful - you may want to call them to see if they have any recommendations.

Good luck.

Speaking as an Upstate New Yorker, I must object to that remark.

Ohhhh.... you were referring to bra installers. Nevermind.

I had a clear bra (3M) put on by the Tint Shop in Rochester --- front, 1/3 hood, mirrors, lower side fenders... $ 1,200 dollars -- life time guarentee, required 6 hours -... Holtze Porsche recomends them... Looks great, easy to clean...

Thanks much Peter. The lower side fenders, does that include the lower part of the doors too?

The only other area that is covered is a small tire guard behind the front tires on the fender... Adding the lower portion of the doors would not be much more expensive --- once the front grill and hood is figured, everything else was easy and cheap... I think you'll find that most Porsche's in Rochester use the Tint Shop...

The other side of their business did our entire house in clear tint 4 years ago --- many, many windows - perfect craftmanship... If you do call them, get their price and then tell then them I said you should get 20% off... just as I did. Remind them of my midnight blue Cayman (last March), my house and of Gavin, my daughters friend who used to work there...
