Yep it was a great day! My dad and I went up late since I didn't have the Cayman (damn inattentive drivers!!) and we couldn't take a parade lap with the miata. Although, it was a great day for some top down driving, and the miata is a whole lot of fun to drive anyway. I've never been to a track like this, so there were a lot more people than I expected. As it turned out, the morning parade lap was cancelled because they didn't have enough people, but the second parade lap went off. We were almost going thumb a ride with a solo cayman driver if we could find any, but instead rode in the back of a cayenne GTS from fairfield porsche. The GTS didn't feel much different than our v6 cayenne with a 6 speed manual, but i'm sure driving it would have felt different.
Anyway today must be packed, there were about 125 porsche yesterday, I bet double today. The racing was awesome and I have pics and video that I will try to post later. Walking through the paddock was really cool. I didn't expect everything to be so accessible.
O yea and I joined PCA finally! I really want to do a DE eventually.

My son and I made it on Saturday, awsome day. I asked the PNA president when will the factory race Caymans in the US and his response was "the 911 is the factory racing platform". No surpirse, the 911 is the Porsche marque! Saw several Caymans including a brand new Cobalt blue with tan interior; the owner didn't know about caymanclub.net, he does now. Lime Rock is a great venue and I will return (Saturday was my 2nd time, I first went in 1971, large gap!)
Great pictures everyone! Almost like I was actually there. I hope I can get similar shots down at Petite LeMans during CroctoberFest.
Thanks for sharing them.
