GT3 Cup and Race Prep Tech

Join NNJR Saturday, July 12, 2008 at DeMan Motorsport, 200 Corporate Drive, Blauvelt, NY 10913 as the Tech committee will have a session covering variants of the GT3 Cup factory race car and general race car prep. A dyno demonstration with a street car will be conducted and a FREE dyno session will be raffled of to one of the participants.

Anyone with an interest in Porsche cars is invited.

Refreshments will be served. The sessions begins at Noon.

I was looking forward to this event until I realized it overlaps with my annual corporate getaway meeting.

We missed you at Pocono last weekend! There were probably twice as many car running compared to the April event.

You should think about signing up to drive in the NNJR Porschrama event in September.

This was a lot of fun & very educational. These guys really know their Porsche's and had an unbelieveable bunch of race cars on display. One of our Zone 1 members won a free dyno. I believe the results where 262 hp on a dynopak (no rollers). The car had a porsche sport exhaust & results where quite interesting open vs. closed. I'll let him share the results.

Go to the Dyno Chart subforum. I have posted the dyno results there. Also Rick DeMan has a CS with several mods. I have e-mailed him asking him if he will share the dyno charts for his car with us. If he does, I will post and let everyone when I do.

What I found really interesting was the engine room where he showed the parts of a GT3 engine. $9,000 for a set of rods!!! Wow!
