I just picked up my Midnight Blue Cayman last Monday in Boston. I had a nice trip back to Rhode Island, although I watched my speed and rpm. It would be great to have a Zone 1 Cayman get together.
Father's day PCA event in Litchfield CT. Unofficlial, but a few of us are planning to be there.

That was me at the town beach! I just got this weekend (traded in my 04 M3)!
I am Getting a little nervous about resale value now because I don't keep my cars too long(after reading more and more in this forum)! Got all the money for my M and $6200 off the Cayman S!
I love this car though! How did you see the car? Were you at the beach? I am from Westerly (and have my entire family there), but live in the Hartford area now!

Thanks for the reply. I was just cruising past the beach, my son and I were taking the long way to the grocery store. I was shocked to see another Cayman, blue no less. I thought I did well by getting $4500 off the price of mine you did outstanding from what I have read here. I go through cars quite frequently too, but this one is a keeper, I think the car is great (looks and performance). I really enjoy BMW's too, we just got my wife the new 3 in November and it is quite nice. So, you don't live in Westerly anymore?? Do you have family in town? I just had a thought regarding who you might be.....your parents don't live in Winnapaug Hills do they?? Just curious.
My family still lives in Westerly (not in Winnapaug Hills), I grew up there and went to school there, and I still pay some property taxes there, though my home residence is in Rocky Hill, CT.
Where do you live? Did you get your car at Inskip? Hoffman? Herb Chambers?
I take it you have a midnight blue car, what options and interior color?
Mark

I live in Winnapaug Hills on St. Andrews Terrace. There is a family down the road that drives BMW's and they have a son who lives in the Hartford area and also owns a home in Westerly. Yes, mine is Midnight Blue also with tan interior, 19' wheels, sport mode, power seats, Porsche crest on headrest and wheels and I think that is about it. I purchased at Herb Chambers in Boston. Where did you get yours? Like I said, you got a great deal it sounds like. I really like the car though. If you are headed back down to Westerly stop by and maybe we can go racing around! My boys will be fighting for the passenger seat though.
I will let you know, I am there most weekends, there seems to be a nice resurgence of people who like cars in the area, which is always cool. Enjoy the Summer Pops this weekend!
I got my car at Porsche of Wallingford (owned by the Valenti Family). I have a good relationship with someone in the Valenti family (Rob, who runs the automall in Mystic). I have had great luck with them except for the Toyota Dealer in Westerly, who is a married to his cousin and doesn't like me much.
Take care!
Mark

We will be out of town for a few weeks, so no pops for us this year. I know Rob Valenti....bought vehicles from his dealershipin the past, but have had some issues. Tried to purchase from him recently and wasn't able to win me back. Give me a holler if you are in the Westerly area. Where do your folks live?
Just checking in as I'm in West Hartford. I was fortunate to attend the Litchfield Father's Day event and got a chance to meet NPG, sonand his Lapis Cayman. Also, a57356 was there with his Lapis Cayman and a vintage Porsche model as well, but alas I didn't have a chance to personally say hi to him before I left the event.
I'll be enjoying the good weather this weekend (finally!), and after a little wash/polish time, I think I'll be out for some drives, but like you Shawn I have younger kids ... oh well, good excuse to make more than one drive as I can only fit one at a time
Hope to see some of you out on the roadthis holiday weekend
