I understand there is a DE event at Lime Rock in November put on by VCRPCA.. I thought it was booked but I have been told its not open yet for registration. I definately plan on being there for both days. Also thinking about attending if not particiating in an autocross school and event in October in Plainfield (I think) Ct..
I'm disappointed thatI have not had time to attend any events...fearful since winter months are approaching. So I may drive up to Limerock on Sunday. Question: Can someone please explain the PCA events? Can you attend other regions DE/AutoX events, like CT or NJ, even if you are in the NY Metro region? Pardon my ignorance, but I'm getting conflicting information. I used to be a member of the BMW CCA, and they seemed more flexible. Also it would be nice tofinally meet other Cayman owners. Thank you! As long as you're a PCA member, you can attend any PCA sponsored event. You just need to contact the host region's event registration person, fill out the forms, pay the fees, and away you go......
Are you still planning on driving up to Lime Rock on Sunday? I wouldn't mind taking a roadtrip this weekend. Haven't been up there in years. It's a nice ride.

Thank you! I'm a PCA member...just wasn't sure of the 'rules of engagement'. Anyway, I appreciate your response. Yes, I'm seriously thinking about taking a driveup there to see the Vintage Festival - I only use my car on the weekends, so I'm anxious to take a trip, thisis a good excuse. I also noticed that that there are 2 other weekends in Sept for DE event. I would like to participate in at least oneof those weekends. We'll see...

<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Great idea - that would be fun! I was hoping to go on Sunday. What day were you thinking? Like Bob said, weather permitting...it looks like Ernesto may rain on our parade. Well, I'll remain optimistic.
My sentiments exactly, last weekend was so horrible, I didn't go anywhere. I looked at it – I know, pathetic!
So it's very clean and showroom shiny...it desperately needs to get some fresh air & finally go somewhere. Tell you what, keep in touch...I'll be in the Princeton area this w/e visiting friends and family - I'll let you know Saturday if I’ll take the drive up.
Hopefully I can get a passenger.
