I work downtown and on my way to lunch with my co-workers the other day we see a Ford GT, Porsche Speedster and a Lamborghini Gallardo. (A firm showing off various cars from their Car Club – which could be fun if you have that kind of money). Anyway, very cool cars, but sadly none of my co-workers appreciated. They all know I have a passion for cars, but do not know I own a car, yet a Porsche…sometimes its best that way. Anyway, a block down the street I see an Atlas Grey Cayman S – parked in a garage. I’m all excited, and say, “Hey, that’s the car I (clearing throat) want”. They have no idea what it is, except some sports car. Anyway, the four of them stared in awe… admiring it more than the other cars and say to me, laughing, “You wish!” As hard as it was, I successfully held back and simply nodded. So...if that particular Cayman is owned by anyone on this forum, I just wanted to let you know your car was very much admired by me and obviously, all of my co-workers.

I believe those cars belong to Classic Car Club Manhattan.

Interesting biz model but if you do the math, it's not that much more money to own (lease-buy) a Gallardo or Ferrari 550.


As an alternative, if you want to experience driving various exotic cars, I recommend the Gotham Dream Cars' dream tour. It's a lot less expensive and GDC maintains good care of their cars.
