Great Plains Region Track Events

Just thought I let you guys know, the Great Plains Region is hosting four track events this year. Two at Motorsports Park Hasting, MPH, which is just south and east of Hastings, Nebraska, and two at Mid America Motorplex, MAM, which is just off I-29 at the Glenwood, Iowa exit.

The first one will be a DE at MPH May 3rd and 4th. MPH is a new facility that is in its second full season of operation. The track is very interesting and the facility is first class. One of the great things about this DE will be the steak dinner at the track Saturday evening. The best steak dinner this side of the Atlantic Ocean, and if you can keep a secret, after dinner we will be treated to an old fashion ice cream social at the home of the parents of one of GPR's members.

To check out the schedule for the year go to the Great Plains web site at Home - Great Plains Region PCA and click on Upcoming Events.

Hope to see a good turn out at the May DE.

The first DE at MPH is only a couple of weekends away, and I still don't see any Cayman's on the Event Roster. This is a chance to get in some track time in relatively small groups at one of the most friendly tracks in the midwest.

The Great Plains Region has just added another track day to the 2008 schedule.

Sunday, September, 7th will be a no-novice track day at Mid America Motorplex near Glenwood, Iowa. This event will feature small run groups with an estimated two and a half hours of track time during the day. Cost for the event is $150.

Registration is currently open at clubregistration.net. At our event last weekend, only one Cayman came to play. Don't miss this opportunity to run with the best.
