After a long Minnesota winter - it's finally time to get out to the track. Hoping to maximize my track time I sign up for the Nord Stern DE AND DT.

I take the car to get it inspected, get the summer tires on and head two hours north to Brainerd.

And it snows. And snows and snows and snows.

I got one 30 minute run in yesterday before the snow came. At $600 for the weekend - that's $20 per minute.

It is going to warm up tomorrow - I'm hoping I'll get a few runs in before having to head back to the twin cities. As you can see from the pictures though - I'm going to have to dig out the car first.

Well, if you really need a track fix, you can come to Hastings, NE next weekend and get two days of track time for half the price. The Great Plains Region is holding the first of two events at Hastings next weekend. The second will be tied in with the Carrera MPH Club Race the 31st of May and the 1st of June. That will be a three day affair, with DE starting on Friday and continuing on Saturday and Sunday. You can register for either event by going to clubregistration.net and search for events in the Great Plains Region.

I found out that my Toyo Proxes R888 are not so good in the snow. Guess I should have went with PSC.
