Good sources for event info

What are some good online sources for event information?

I'min southern Illinois, and would be interested in info on events within a few hours drive... St Louis is the largest nearby metro area, but I might be interested in shows and events as far away as Chicago, Nashville,Memphis and Indianapolis.

Ones that I know about...

Kemp Auto Museum Oktober festivaland Car Show (St Louis area) 22 October 2006 http://www.kempautomuseum.org/

<span id="txtEventDescription">Lake Forest Sports Cars Fall Concours (Chicago area), Sunday, October 8th www.lfsc.com
Thanks for any info. I'll try to add stuff as I run across it.

Buford,

Have you considered Croctoberfest in Kansas City? Only a couple hours west of St. Louis via I-70, might as well come out and meet the gang!

That sounds fun. But, I'm currently between Porsches and PCA membership. How much of the activities would be open for a nice guy who shows up in a (well loved) Miata?

I'd love to come out and spend a couple nights in the KC area. I miss the place. My wife is going to be there this weekend for a marathon (while I dog-sit), so she owes me one.

EDIT: I just sent an e-mail to Greg Wright, asking if I could spectate at the Heartland Park DE.

Greg just responded. He said i was more than welcome to show up andwatch the event. He also offered to sell me his 911, in order to fix the Porsche void in my garage.

So, let me know if I would seem out-of-place at the Croctoberfest. I'd understand if you would rather not have a hanger-on with a Mazda 356B.

You are welcome to come with your Mazda, please read the FAQ, you don't have to bring a Cayman with you, there are a couple of people with them on order who are coming. Just email in your registration notice so that we know you are coming and then show up!

As I mentioned in the e-mail, I'm a probably. In fact, I am strong enough of a probably that I have reservations at the DoubleTree for the 19th, and the Super-8 on the 20th.
