Thanks everyone (poser, aflau, hott, aka wani, & 808croc) for coming out to our first cayman meet at Ala Moana. It was a nice turnout and great for everyone to meet each other in person. To many more cayman gatherings.....
P.S. For those that I don't have your email addresses please email me so that I can update you with any PCA - Hawaii events.

It was so great meeting all of you and I'm stoked to do it again as well as roll with the "Croc's"... that will be fun... I can't wait to see the pictures....
it was a pleasure meeting everyone last night...i had a great time and learned a few new things about the car. dreamster, thanks for organizing the event and i look forward to the next one...but we'll have to select a location where we don't encounter the same issues with our remotes.
Great, that's the place my remote key didn't work and I ended up setting off my alarm. Have fun, I can't make it on Wed.
gtkyl, sorry you couldn't make it last night. i think that we now know what you're referring to re the remote as a few of us experienced similar issues last night. perhaps its due to somekind of rf interference.
Mods4Cars
Mods4cars was founded in 2002 with the idea to add a highly demanded feature to the otherwise almost perfect Porsche Boxster: Comfort One-Touch roof operation while driving at slow speeds. The resulting product offered not only that, but also allowed quick and easy installation by just swapping out a relay box, thus leaving no traces and no permanent changes on the vehicle. The first smartTOP roof controller was born.
allan, my passenger-side rear view mirror does not angle down when i position the mirror selector to the passenger-side and put the car in reverse (as you indicated it would). could this feature be one of those you have to program?
poser and aka, thank you for posting the pics. as i didn't bring a camera (not that it would have made any difference as i am technologically challenged...i attempted to upload a couple of photos that i took the other week and kept on receiving an error message...something about the file exceeding the maximum size), yours are the only pics that memorialize the gtg.
poser, your reverse camera is way cool. i'm considering it for my car.
Nice pictures! I'm sorry to have missed out; there's always next time. BTW, who is maintaining the PCA-HI web site? Not that I need any more work, but ... am I a member or not? How does one log into the Member's Area?

808Croc: Mine worked right from day 1, but Dreamster 808 just indicated that it must be programmed, so maybe she's right and mine was programmed by Porsche Hi, but I didn't know it. Sorry, but I don't know how to program it if it needs doing.

gtkyl: Too bad you couldn't join us last night at ala moana--had a blast! Very nice meeting and talking with everyone about our cars, work, etc.
Like you I've been frustrated about the PCA-Hi website. I joined right after getting my CS early last year and to date have not been listed as a member on the website or managed to log onto the member's area.
