Tubi Exhaust

Anyone in South Florida with a Tubi exhaust and a Milltek one that I can listen to before deciding? I am in Delray Beach. Thanks.

I'm in Boca and trying to decide which to go with as well. Champion said they had a car there with one(TUBI) I could come and hear but then never called me back. Maybe we could get a deal together at Champion if we get 2. I've installed cat backs about a half a dozen times on my cars so forget the labor.

If there is no resonance in the cabin, I'm game. Will you find out from them and perhaps we can meet up?

I believe even Tubi owners said they have resonance, the one I heard certainly had it, but I can't vouch for the install or if it was an early system, a boxster-re-hash or the latest and greatest. I think you guys should listen to several before making a decision, sounds like a 'sound' plan to me!

Boy, I'm in this boat too. I'm flipping and flopping between Milltek, Tubi, and AWE. The Milltek has had more visibility here lately but I've decided to give Tubi and AWE a fair shot. I'd be interesting in hearing the Tubi as well (I'm in Tampa).

K-Man S, resonance is subjective. What is your definition of it when referring to the Tubi? ..a midrange boomy excitation in the interior when at mid-rpm range or when the engine is loaded, a crackling nature of coming off throttle (back pressure) like a stuttering sound, or a rattling exhaust? I've heard these and other explanations of 'resonance'. Thanks.

Both boomy in interior when on gas, as well as echo boomy when letting off gas and decelerating is how I would define it. I should be testing a AWE exhaust shortly if you can wait to make your decision until after our tests it might be helpful.

The result of the exhaust creating a pressure differential in your ears is how I would define resonance. It is both annoying and unacceptable in a 2-3k exhaust.
