Please join us for a ride through beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania on Saturday May, 5th. The roads are freshly-paved and twisty as a pretzel. We will meet for the drive at the Brandywine River Museum (www.brandywinemuseum.org) just off of US 1 in historic Chadds Ford. Gathering time is 9:00a.m. and we will depart at 9:30. The route will take us by the home of Andrew Wyeth and past some of the best horse country this side of Kentucky. The ride will include one or two stops for photo opps of the Caymans winding through a valley and along the river. After a 1 1/2 - 2 hr spirited drive, we will finish at The Whip, a British tavern just outside of Coatesville (www.thewhiptavern.com). Here you can enjoy lunch and a beverage of your choice. Maps will be provided for those who prefer not to "caravan" and would like to wend their own way.
"Hank's Place" across from the Brandywine museum is a great place to grab breakfast for those who arrive early. The Brandywine Museum makes for a nice spot for a significant other to pass the time while you drive if they aren't up for "passengering". Please make plans to attend and PM me or reply to this thread. I have a buddy who is in another auto club and they do give-aways for their rallies. I am hopeful to provide the same for this one, but want make sure I have enough. I hope to see as many Caymans as possible. All Porsches (or any make car) are welcome, but I know there has been a recent surge of Caymans in the area so I would like to do the model proud.

Hmmmm, interesting. Seeing that this rally would be on my birthday, it sounds like a nice way to spend the day. I would have to find something very worthwhile for my better half on the end part of this trip....

Thanks for getting this rally together, sounds terrific! Barring a previously commited engagement, you can count me in for sure!
Great starting point by the way.
You old enough to remember Lenape Park?

Unfortunately, yes, I do remember Lenape Park. The same location is now Lenape Picnic Park, but no more rollercoaster. There are still a couple of old buildings there. Let me know when you have the date resolved. Thanks.
Hey guys. Met up with Midnight Blue and Going-Cayman at the PCA event today. We had a blast, but need warm weather to get the "gription" kicked into gear. Will look forward to the 5/5 event.

Thanks for the compliments Fadiboy, but you've got nothing to be jealous about. Your Cayman is pretty tight too I would say.
I posted tons of pics from the Lambertville rally in a new thread in Zone 2, but few have looked and no one has commented. I guess we Zone 2ers are a small bunch.
Looking forward to the next drive!

Midnight Blue and Hillsilman and I did out best to test out the roads this weekend. I was lucky in that I got 2 drives -- one Saturday with Midnight and one Sunday with Hill. I hope to see as many as can make it this Saturday.
