I was there from about 11:00 and blew out of there at 11:45 due to other obligations. I met Bill and his son on my way out. In our short conversation, both seem very nice and I would've liked to have stayed to chat longer. It also would've been nice to meet other CC members but maybe next time.
Funny thing happened at the entrance gate. The attendant was trying to rush me through the gate as I was getting my can food and I ended up stalling the car. The kicker was, the attendant apologized for it.
Anyway, good show from the small bit I was there for.

It was a nice show, although a little chaotic. At least the weather was gorgeous.
I have never seen more 350Zs in one place! I gave up counting after 75. It almost seemed like it was a 350Z show with some other cars thrown in.
I don't know what it was, but the event "organizers" did seem a little anti-Porsche -- for one thing, there were Hondas and Toyotas in the "exotic" parking area, but only Ed's Porsche (not counting the ones for sale). Kinda strange when an old, ordinary car with bolt-ons and stickers is considered more exotic than a fairly new Porsche.
It was great to meet MotoFanatic and golfguy11800. I saw Ed's car, but never found Ed. I believe that makes a total of 4 Caymans (all S's), unless someone else showed up after we left. The burgers were pretty good, but a little overcooked. We arrived about 11:30, and ended up leaving about 1:30.
well, my wife and i went but not with cayman. i figured it would be more or less the fast and furious crowd and we were not disappointed. i think we were probably the oldest couple there -- take average age and multiply by two. we saw the fancy cayman s in the exotics and hung around it for awhile hoping to meet fellow cayman s' ers but alas we did not. my wife kept asking who all the celebrities were crawling all over the porsche turbos. i told her they were from fast and furious. she didn't wanta leave. anyway, for an oldtimer like me who is more used to the 428 mercury maruder being offered by flemings -- they slashed the price right in front of me probably thinking i'd go for it, it was a very interesting show to see what the youger generation is doing to these cars -- reckon a lot of 9, 10 second cars there. great show!

I wish I could have gone. I was still deciding between going to the show and something else but when it sounded like no one was really sure if they were going I decided to do my other option.
Ed, if I wanted vinyl like you have (had) on the front how would I go about getting it? I was thinking about doing a couple things in black to break up the pure artic silver but really haven't found anything else to do with the front.
