Ouch - I'm sorry to hear that.

I have seen two Corvettes and a Ferrari wreck in the rain there between turns 5 and 6. Mental note: Go easy there!

The weather waiting game continues...

Good luck at VIR guys.

FT sorry to say I canceled out this afternoon with too little good info to make a real informed decision. Forecasts ranging from no US landfall to evacuation of Savannah and/or Charleston and the need to leave very early tomorrow from FL forced this.

You are correct that a lot can be learned driving in rain on track at lower speeds. Remember the limits are also lower.

Hope the best forecasts are correct, you all have a great time and I regret my bail out.

Maury

If nothing else, we can have a hurricane party! But seriously, think Friday and Sunday should be good. I am bringing a book for Saturday though.

I am sorry to hear Maury, I was looking forward to seeing you again. We'll have even more fun next time, probably Zone 2 in March

John, I'll give you a call in the towards noon to give you direction to the meeting place, it should not take you more than 20 mins to get to exit 16A once you are on I270 in Frederick.
